An Islamabad court granted bail to Hassan Zahid on Monday after Samiya Hijab, the accuser, announced that the matter between them had been settled amicably. The court proceedings took place under Judge Amir Zia.
Samiya Hijab, a popular TikToker, informed the court that she wanted to withdraw her case against Hassan Zahid. She stated clearly that she no longer wished to pursue any legal action or further proceedings.
When asked by the judge, Samiya confirmed she had no objections to granting bail and clearing Hassan Zahid of the accusations. Consequently, Hassan Zahid was released on bail bonds of Rs 20,000 for each of the two cases filed against him at Shalimar police station.
The dispute began when Samiya Hijab accused Hassan Zahid of harassment and intimidation, leading her to file a case. The issue quickly gained widespread attention due to the public profiles of both parties.
Insiders revealed that the two had resolved their differences privately after Hassan Zahid addressed Samiya’s concerns. Samiya conditionally forgave him, ending the high-profile conflict.
This resolution brings relief to both sides and closes a chapter that had captured public interest in recent weeks. The court has now dismissed the case, marking an official end to the legal battle.
