Lahore – Pakistan has dispatched another consignment of humanitarian aid to Gaza in collaboration with Alkhidmat Foundation under the supervision of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz attended the official send-off ceremony held at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.
This 22nd shipment consisted of 100 tons of essential supplies, including flour, rice, cooking oil, canned food, pulses, and ready-to-eat meals. The aid was flown out via a special cargo flight. NDMA reported that the total aid sent so far weighs over 2,127 tons, showing Pakistan’s continued commitment to support the people of Palestine.
During her address, CM Maryam Nawaz expressed solidarity with the people of Gaza. She stated, “Every Pakistani heart beats with the people of Palestine. These relief goods are a message of love from Pakistan.” She condemned the ongoing violence in Gaza and called for global attention to the suffering of innocent civilians.
Maryam Nawaz also praised NDMA and Alkhidmat Foundation for their quick mobilization and coordination. She reiterated Pakistan’s firm stance to stand with Palestinians during this humanitarian crisis and promised continued assistance from the provincial and federal governments.
So far, 22 aid flights have been dispatched, each carrying essential food and relief items. NDMA officials assured that more support will follow as long as the humanitarian need in Gaza persists.
