Sir: This refers to the increasing shortage of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in Karachi. Usually, CNG is available only for four days a week and many a times there are CNG strikes without prior notice. People are compelled to leave their homes late at night to get CNG, otherwise they rush early in the morning to join the long hectic queues to get their vehicles filled with this fuel. The second issue is that the price of CNG increases manifold when it is not available for one or two days. Public transport remains absent during the absence of CNG and working people have to face great difficulties in reaching their destinations. I request the government to take necessary action to resolve this issue at the earliest.ASHAAH SIDDIQUIKarachi
