NA passes Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Bill
The National Assembly on Thursday passed the Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Bill 2025. The bill, moved by Sharmila Faruqui, was passed clause by clause. Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said the bill is not against Islamic principles and noted that it has already been approved by the provinces.
