On the directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem, the process of departmental promotions in Punjab Police continues uninterrupted. In continuation of this process, a Promotion Board meeting for promotion from Junior Clerk to Senior Clerk was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of DIG Establishment-II Suleman Sultan Rana. The meeting was attended by SSP Special Branch Ismail-ur-Rehman, AIG Admin and Security Qazi Farooq Sultan, Registrar Humair Ahmad Qureshi, and AD Admin Iftikhar Anwar.
Punjab Police spokesperson said that more than 90 cases of Junior Clerks were considered during the meeting, out of which 47 Junior Clerks who fulfilled the merit criteria, rules and regulations were approved for promotion to the rank of Senior Clerk. AIG Admin and Security Qazi Farooq Sultan has issued the promotion notification.
IG Punjab Abdul Kareem congratulated the promoted clerks and directed them to perform their duties with greater diligence, dedication, and hard work. He said that departmental promotion is an important part of every officer’s and employee’s career and reflects an increase in responsibilities. He added that the process of promotions based on performance, seniority, competence, and merit will continue in the same manner.
