Pakistan Women Cricket Team has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming ODI series against Zimbabwe Women Cricket Team, scheduled to be played in Karachi from 4 to 9 May at the National Bank Stadium. The selection committee finalized the squad as part of preparations for both ODI and T20I formats, while additional matches in the series will follow later in the month. Officials confirmed that training sessions will begin ahead of the opening match to ensure full readiness.
The ODI series will play a key role in the ongoing ICC Women’s Championship cycle from 2025 to 2029, where Pakistan currently stands in fifth position after earlier fixtures against South Africa. Captain Fatima Sana will continue to lead the side in all three ODIs, bringing consistency to the team’s leadership structure. Meanwhile, selectors have also included uncapped player Momina Riasat, offering her an opportunity to make her international debut in the 50-over format.

In addition, the ODI matches are scheduled for 4, 6, and 9 May, with all games starting at 3:30 p.m. Pakistan time under expected evening conditions. Zimbabwe will arrive in Pakistan on 29 April for their maiden tour of the country, marking an important milestone in bilateral women’s cricket relations. Both teams will then participate in joint training sessions from 30 April to 3 May at the same venue to prepare for competitive action.
Following the ODI series, a three-match T20I series will also take place at the National Bank Stadium, continuing the cricket action in mid-May. The T20I matches are scheduled for 12, 14, and 15 May, all starting at 7:30 p.m. local time. Officials say the extended tour will provide both teams with valuable international exposure and help strengthen women’s cricket development in the region.
