Holy Quran: An Ultimate Inspiration for Youth Success (Part I)

Published on: March 14, 2026 1:22 AM

March 14, 2026 by Shahbaz Ali Anjum

In this great walk of life and a fast-paced era of information, communication, and technology, the Holy Quran is a great blessing and the ultimate inspiration and motivation for the youth of the nation. All the Praises and Glory be to ALLAH Almighty, and in this holy month of Ramdhan, we seek his help from the evils of ourselves. The Quran, the wise guide, the mighty rope of ALLAH, the great book above every book. The Holy Quran is such a Kalam of Allah Almighty, blessed with great qualities and timeless guidelines for success that will remain forever.

There is a great relationship between Ramdhan and the Holy Quran. The Quran, the words of Allah Almighty, is the revelation of the Quran in this month of Ramazan. Allah Almighty has made this month of Ramazan a very blessed month. If you know that such and such a time is blessed, then consider it blessed. Take advantage of every moment of this holy month. Fill your lap with the blessed days, nights, and hours of honour that come in Ramdhan. Improve your personality in the light of the Quran. The Quran and Ramadan have a strong association. In this holy month of Ramdhan, youth must spend their time with the Quran that will make it more invaluable. They must read the book of ALLAH, The Quran; follow its timeless guidelines for their daily lives, and keep on pondering its blessed verses. The young minds have to ponder the ways, by following, they can achieve greatness and elevation in their academic, social, and spiritual lives through this great Holy Book.

It is a common human tendency for people to accumulate worldly possessions, such as wealth and material goods, which are fleeting and will not remain with them forever.

This Quran has such grace and power that whoever in this world is associated heartedly with it, Allah Almighty grants the paths of success, grace, and progress. This is His decision, and human history records and testifies to the miracles of the Quran. Allah Almighty revealed the Holy Quran in Arabic, and the relationship of Arabic with the Quran was connected, and because of this association, the Arabic language was given that permanence and grace. And since the Arabic language, the language of the Quran, has remained in existence till today, it has stood with high glory. Similarly, whoever adopts the guidance, commands, principles, and rules contained in the Quran will continue to progress and get the high grace and respect. Youth must understand this miracle of the Holy Quran. Whoever, male or female, the more he or she adopts them, the more the paths of success and greatness will be paved, in Sha Allah. The main and one of the major purposes of the revelation of the Holy Quran was to guide people on the straight path, as mentioned like that Surah Nisa, (4: 174-175). I invite through this column the top stakeholders of the country, academics, businessmen, students, and especially young minds, let’s absorb and follow the great teachings of the Holy Quran towards our daily lives. Some important lessons and guidance must be followed to get grace and success by the youth of the nation. The following are the most crucial aspects of life in the light of the Quran, which are the ultimate inspiration for the youth’s success.

Seek the Life of Purification and Do the Good Deeds: Youth should place Allah at the top of their life and prioritise Him above all else. Young minds must have the foundation of Faith by following the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAAW). Regular Remembrance (Zikr), offering prayers, and social welfare towards people. The Quran stated, “Whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, we will surely bless them with a good life, and We will certainly reward them according to the best of their deeds”. Surah An-Nahl [16: 97].

To Deny the Soul from Its Pleasure: This is of great significance and importance in fearing the Majesty of Allah and controlling one’s desires. The people who are conscious of Allah’s Authority and refrain from succumbing to personal lusts and worldly temptations are promised a place in Paradise. Quranic guidance in this regard must be followed: “But as for he who feared the Position of his Lord and prevented the soul from (unlawful) inclination, then indeed the paradise shall be his dwelling place”. Surah An-Nazi’at [79: 40-41].

Keep Worldly Possessions with ALLAH: It is a common human tendency for people to accumulate worldly possessions, such as wealth and material goods, which are fleeting and will not remain with them forever. This serves as a reminder that materialistic things and worldly gains are temporary; they exist only for a short time before coming to an end. In contrast, the rewards, blessings, and provisions from Allah are eternal and will endure forever. Therefore, one should strive to engage in acts of charity, as these actions lead to great rewards from Allah Almighty. Quran states, “Whatever you have will end, but whatever Allah has is everlasting” Surah An-Nahl [16: 96].

Always Remember the Standard of Respect: In this great walk of life, people seek their respect, reputation, and honour in social status, ethnicity, material wealth, and in the opinions of others. This is the parameter of this materialistic and mortal world. On the other hand, the most respected, valuable, and noblest person in the sight of ALLAH Almighty is that person who has fearful awareness (Taqwa). The true measure of nobility and honour in the sight of Allah is based on one’s level of piety and consciousness (Taqwa). As mentioned, in the Quran:

“Indeed, the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the one who has the most fearful awareness (Taqwa)” Surah Al-Hujurat[49: 13].

Never worry about Your Sustenance, Your Share will come to you. It is part of human nature to often feel fear and jealousy over what others possess. However, one should learn to be content with the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon them. Allah knows what is truly best for us and the perfect timing for everything. The distribution of livelihood, sustenance, and wealth is based on divine justice. Allah knows better what is truly suitable and beneficial for us. The Holy Quran said: “It is We who divide their livelihood among them in the life of this world.” Surah Al-Az-Zukhruf [4.32]

Satan is Your Worst Enemy: In this worldly life, people often hold enmity towards one another, seeking to assert dominance over their opponents. Courts, rural areas, and urban centres are filled with disputes, sometimes over trivial matters. Despite living in misery, individuals persist in their conflicts and grudges. They must strive to live peacefully and foster love for one another. People should recognise that the only true enemy is Satan, the open adversary of humanity. His role is to mislead and tempt individuals toward sin, steering them away from righteousness. The Quran Said. “Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so, take him as an enemy.” Surah Fatir [35:06]

Allah is the Provider: In this vast journey of life, all provisions and needs, whether for humans, animals, birds, or any creature on the surface of the earth, are entirely dependent on Allah and His sustenance. All are under His control and care. Quran Said “There is no moving creature on earth but that its sustenance is dependent on Allah” Surah Hud [11: 06].

Allah is Enough for You: People often place their reliance on their resources, political affiliations, material possessions, and social status. However, the Quran teaches that a believer’s complete trust in Allah Almighty is more than sufficient for them. Those who place their trust in Allah will receive His support and sufficiency, no matter the circumstances. This unwavering trust empowers believers to face challenges with confidence and inner peace. The Quran said: “And whoever puts their trust in Allah, then He alone is sufficient for them” Surah At-Talaq [65: 03]. (To Be Concluded)
