PSL 11 is set to commence on March 26, 2026, with Faisalabad returning as an additional venue, further expanding the league’s footprint across Pakistan. The Sialkot Stallionz draw inspiration from the former domestic team of the same name, which boasts a record six National T20 Cup titles between 2005 and 2012, including a 25-match unbeaten streak — a world record in Pakistan’s domestic T20 cricket.
In a significant change to league operations, the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed that PSL 11 will implement a player auction for the first time in league history, replacing the traditional player draft system. Under the new rules, franchises can retain a maximum of four players, limited to one per category, compared with the previous retention of up to eight players, along with a mentor, a brand ambassador, and the right to match a ninth player.
