Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has revealed she is stepping back from drama projects due to repeated payment delays and a lack of professional respect. Speaking openly about the struggles she faces in the entertainment industry, Alizeh shared that she often has to wait three to four months just to receive her paycheck. She explained that she repeatedly reminds producers for her dues, which makes her feel disrespected and undervalued.
Alizeh stated that she will only work in places where she feels respected and appreciated. The actress made it clear that no amount of fame or money is worth losing self-respect. Known for her roles in Superstar and Ehd-e-Wafa, Alizeh has seen both praise and controversy throughout her career. However, she believes that the industry must treat its artists fairly if it wants them to stay committed.
Recently, she also spoke out against married men who flirt with other women, saying this is a behavior she strongly disapproves of. At the same time, she defended herself against those who judge her for her fashion choices. Alizeh insisted she never used unfair means to get roles and that her success is based on hard work and talent alone.
Actor Syed Mohammad Ahmed also mentioned facing similar issues, claiming that he hasn’t been paid for his work either. Alizeh supported his statement, saying this problem is widespread and affects many actors in the industry. She called for a change in how actors are treated and how payments are handled in the entertainment field.
Despite her serious concerns, online reactions to her comments were mixed. While some fans supported her honesty, others criticized her, questioning how she manages to travel abroad if the industry is so unfair. A few even blamed her for her own struggles, suggesting her attitude may be the real reason she is getting fewer projects. Nevertheless, Alizeh remains firm in her stance, saying she will not compromise her dignity for fame or money.
