ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif directed transparent and timely completion of development projects in the federal capital on Wednesday, state media reported. While chairing a meeting on Capital Development Authority (CDA) affairs at the PM House, prime minister said slow pace of development is not acceptable. He said there should be complete transparency in the execution of projects without compromising the quality of work. State Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Tariq Fazl Chaudhary and Capital Development Authority chairman attended the meeting that reviewed progress on prime minister’s Packages of development projects. The projects include re-carpeting of roads, lane marking and repair of footpaths, repair of drainage systems, road signage, LED lights and city sewerage. The prime minister was briefed about the development of residential sectors including D12, C15, Park Enclave 1, Park Enclave 2, E12, I15 and I-12. The prime minister was also informed that the facilitation centre is near completion. The premier also reviewed execution of Islamabad Expressway, rehabilitation of IJP Road and dualisation of Embassy Road.
