SIALKOT – Construction of the ‘Great Wall of Sialkot’ is underway at Allama Iqbal Chowk here. Talking to the media here on Friday, DCO Dr Asif Tufail said that the wall had been attributed to Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the poet and philosopher of the East. The wall was being constructed to promote Iqbaliyat in active collaboration with the business community besides paying homage to Allama Iqbal. The DCO said the wall would reflect Sialkot’s historical perspective, culture, heritage and its global industrial significance.
