PESHAWAR: Discussion on the budget is continue in the provincial assembly here on Wednesday as the opposition leader criticised the provincial government and said that there was no change occurs in Patwar system in KP and corruption is on the peak in revenue department. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Session on the budget 2017-18 was continuing under the chairmanship of Speaker Assembly Asad Qaiser here on Wednesday. Malak Noor Saleem Khan MPA said that the Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan was claimed some four years before that the PTI will end corruption and corrupt Patwari system from the province and made all the land record computerized but nothing has so far done in this regard after four years has been passed. Syed Jafar Shah MPA of ANP said that in far flung areas still there was no record and Inteqal for land accusation, adding that still there was no sitting of Patwari in their local area as they were setting in district and taking huge amount from the poor people in bribes. Mininster for Revenue Ali Ameen Gandpur said that for the last four years the department has done 85 % work to computerize the land record system. Gandapur said that more than seven hundred Patwaris were suspended on poor performance and corruptions while 80 Tehsildar were terminated, adding that before no one government take action against PATWARI and corrupt mafi but it was the PTI government who take action against corruption.
