A civil society gathering on Tuesday expressed serious concern over undermining of the parliament, laws and the Constitution by the federal government and state institutions, which is causing a bad name to the country globally. They condemned the political victimization of the opposition leaders. At a meeting organized by Pakistan Civil Society Forum, held here at the office of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (Karachi office), the human rights, labour rights and civil society activists demanded release of all the political leaders by following the legal procedures. They condemned the delaying tactics being adopted by the federal government for giving him way to send abroad the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for medical treatment as he is facing serious health threats.
