KARACHI: The metropolis experienced over 3,766 fire incidents that were reported at 21 fire stations during last 11 months of 2016. States a report compiled by the city’s Department of Fire Brigade by the information gathered from its 21 fire stations over the city during 11 months of 2016. The city experienced many fire episodes on regular basis and thousands on yearly basis and keeping in view such unpleasant obligations the fire office needs prompt modernization to maintain a strategic distance from any real fire accident in future, the report uncovered. A large portion of the fire episode happened in the most warmed month of May in which 427 fire mishaps were accounted for. The most elevated zone in flame mishaps is within the limits of Saddar Fire Station in which around 375 occurrences were accounted in 11 months. Nazimabad is on the second position where 323 fire occurrences were accounted for followed after by 222 fire mishaps in Lyari Fire Station. SITE Fire Station experienced 256 accidents while 293 in Korangi Fire Station, 263 in North Karachi fire station, 211 in Orangi Fire Station, 185 in Gulshan Iqbal fire station, 175 in Landhi Fire Station, 171 protestations got by Manzoor Colony Fire Station, 169 in Gulistan Jauhar fire station, 135 in Shah Faisal Station, 129 in Civic Center Fire Station and 64 in Baldia Fire Station were accounted for amid most recent 11 months of this current year (2016). Industrial mishaps and fire occurrences are routine in the city.
