Government taking practical steps for resolving Kashmir dispute: Speaker NA

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser on Monday said Pakistan and Kashmir are tied in the bonds of brotherhood and cultural connectivity like veins in human body and the incumbent government is taking practical steps to resolve this dispute.

“The struggle of the Kashmiri people has awakened the conscience of the world community and the day is not far when the Sun of freedom will rise for the Kashmiri people”, he said. He said that regional peace will only be possible through peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute. He expressed these view while meeting with Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudary President Pakistan TehreekInsaf (PTI) Kashmir in the Parliament House on Monday.

While stressing on the world to resolve this dispute, he said that India is using cheap tactics to divert the attention of the world from Kashmir and is bent upon to suppress the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri. He said that it is time for the world leadership to take initiative to resolve this critical dispute. He stressed for resolution of the Kashmir dispute as per the United Nations Resolutions and sustainable peace in the region is dependent upon this issue resolution. He said that Pakistan has always been supporting the Kashmir cause will always raise voice for their rights. “Both Pakistani masses and Pakistani government condemn the barbarity and cruelty on Kashmiri people and always have close integrity for the cause of Kashmiris.” He mentioned Palwama Attack as negative propaganda to suppress the Kashmiri Cause and stressed on the world to take notice of the indiscriminate killing of the Kashmiris.

President PTI Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudary said during the meeting that masses in the AJ&K are always stands shoulder to shoulder with masses in the Indian Occupied Kashmir and always condemn the barbarity committed by India in occupied Kashmir. He appreciated the incumbent government’s practical steps to resolve this serious humanitarian issue and welcomed the proactive Kashmir policy of the government. He stressed the need to immediately halt the Indian Army from committing atrocities against common people in Kashmir and the early resolution of the Kashmir dispute. He said that whole nation is united against any aggression by India as Pakistani nation is fully capable to counter all challenges. He appreciated the incumbent government’s efforts for resolution of the Kashmir dispute. He expressed his gratitude for unanimous resolution in the favor of Kashmir freedom and thanked the speaker for his visit to Mirpur during recent escalation with India.
