Well-known Pakistani-American writer, cultural commentator and film critic Ally Adnan has been elected as a member of the prestigious Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association. Adnan has been writing about culture, history and the arts for many international publications for over thirty years and is known for his hard-hitting and incisive movie reviews. He is also a member of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI). He writes regularly for the Daily Times. The Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association is an organisation of more than thirty print, radio/TV and internet journalists. Members are selected through voting and include critics who publish or broadcast substantive reviews, based on considerations of artistic merit and entertainment value, of newly-released films, under their own names, on a regular basis.
