ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will head a meeting of the federal cabinet today (Wednesday).
According to details, a 20-point agenda will be discussed during the meeting. The cabinet will also review implementation of the decisions taken during the last meeting as well as accord approval for those taken by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC).
The members are expected to review amendments in reforms for Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) as well as grant it status of an interim province and the minister for Kashmir affairs and the law minister will give a briefing about this matter, says sources.
The cabinet will review the supply to gas industries and transfer of matters of divisions which are under the Economic Affairs Division.
Moreover, today’s agenda also includes according approval for the formation of a board of trustee for Karachi Port Trust (KPT) and appointment of chairman Port Qasim Authority.
The members of the cabinet will also discuss the launching of a Rs50 coin to mark World Anti-Corruption Day during the meeting.
