
Toyota has achieved another landmark as they see a raise in their group-wide global production plan to 10.59 million in 2018, a 1.2 percent increase from the previous year.
They are now planning to build 10.40 million vehicles.
Toyota has become a household name throughout the world and this means that they will now need to work harder than before to meet the needs and the expectations of its customers.
Toyota will need to boost and upscale the production of Lexus-brand sedans and sport utility vehicles to export this to Chinese market. And would also need to ramp up domestic production of the RAV4 small SUC for export to European countries.
In China, Toyota will need to increase the output of C-HR small SUV model and its flagship sedan Camry.
Toyota have also planned to build a new plant in Guangzhou keeping in mind the increase in its demand.
