THARPARKAR: Five more children have reportedly passed away on Tuesday. The kids were suffering from malnutrition and were under treatment at the Civil Hospital in Tharparkar. According to the Tharparkar Department of Health, the children were aged between six days and a year. The death toll in Tharparker has reached to 14 for this month. Pakistan is among those countries where the infant mortality rate is very high and at least 22 minors die before turning one month old, the United Nation’s Children Fund reported in April this year.
