LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan in the disproportionate assets case. Aleem is PTI’s potential candidate for the slot Punjab chief minister. NAB is investigating the PTI leader in a case pertaining to ‘owing assets beyond income’. Aleem appeared twice before in relation to the ongoing investigation but could not satisfy the anti-graft body. NAB has now directed the PTI leader to appear before the bureau on August 8. Aleem has declared total assets worth Rs918,278,855 in his nomination papers submitted for the recently held elections. Moreover, Aleem Khan won a provincial assembly seat in the July 25 polls.
