JACOBABAD: A large number of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers, belonging to Sabhayo Gharhi village, joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday at the residence of Raaz Khan Pathan, the senior leader of PTI. Reportedly, Pathan revealed that many PPP and PMLN ‘disgruntled’ workers have abandoned their parties and joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. “The disappointed workers have joined PTI for the welfare of the state,” he said adding that many children died in Tharparkar, Mithi and other districts of Sindh due to poverty and lack of resources and the PPP government failed to resolve their issues. Besides, he expressed satisfaction that PTI would secure victory in the upcoming general elections-2018. Later, he assured the new workers that their critical issues would be addressed on priority basis. The notables of the area including Mir Zeeshan Lahri, Inaytullah Lahri, Saifuddin, Zubair Ahmed, Jaffar Jatoi, Shahid Khoso and others along with their supports owed allegiance to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
