
Cricketer turned politician Imran Khan and youngest Nobel Prize winner and education activist Malala Yousufzai have made it to the list of World’s Most Admired People of 2018. Malala is the seventh most admired woman, while Imran was number 20 amongst the most admired men in the world.
The list presents 20 women and 20 men, who were chosen from the result of online interviews with above 37,000 people in 35 countries.

The famous celebrity and humanitarian, Angelina Jolie and the Microsoft founder, Bill Gates topped the world’s most admired people list. They have been topping the list every year since 2015.
On the women’s list, Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey are number two and three individually.The most admirable women list mostly presented women from the entertainment business with 14 of them being singers, TV anchors and actors. Hollywood artists,Emma Watson, Madonna, Gal Gadot and Liu Yifei were also on the list along with, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai from Bollywood.
Number two on the male list was the ex US president Barack Obama, succeeded by actor Jackie Chan and Chinese president Xi Jinping. In comparison, the male list included men from politics and sports. It included Christiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Elon Musk, Warren Buffet and David Beckham.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US President Donald Trump and Turkish President Recep Erdogan.were among the politicians featured on the list.
