LAHORE: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has sanctioned $300,000 to Pakistan on the Pakistan Football Federation’s (PFF) request for repair, refurbishing and reconstruction of PFF headquarters, which was badly damaged by illegal occupants of the PFF House Lahore during their three years stay in the building. “This decision was taken in the AFC executive meeting held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Tuesday which was chaired by the AFC President Shaikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al-Khalifa,” a spokesman for the PFF said yesterday. Meanwhile, PFF President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayayat has said that the AFC will be sending its consultant within a week to assess the damage and initiate the tender process.
