I stood next to the wall. He wasn’t looking at me. He had his back positioned towards me while he gathered all his stuff together. He took all the happiness with himself and kept the sadness for me. I was looking at him, but he wasn’t. He raised his hand to grasp at the mirror as his watch fell to the floor. Time stopped at 10 o’ clock. I smiled, after which he turned his face towards me with a malicious grin. “Today you can say anything to me that you want to, but tomorrow you won’t be able to say anything,” he said, as he began to gather his materials again. The night turned into day. When I woke up, I couldn’t see anything. He had taken away my eyes along with all his belongings.
