Sir: Turbat is a big city but it lacks proper internet facilities. We are already facing many problems and they are being exacerbated by the lack of internet access. For nearly eight months 4G internet has been unavailable while PTCL is too slow to be of any use at all. The lives of students and business people in particular have been made more hectic by the lack of proper internet facilities. Once I went to the PTCL office to inquire after the reason for internet being so slow. They told me that due to some technical problems, it has been slow. They assured me that after one month it would recover, but 7 months have passed yet I can’t see any changes in internet performance. It shows the irresponsibility of the PTCL authorities. Besides PTCL, I went to a networking franchise to ask for 4G availability, they stated that they couldn’t be certain about when I would be provided with 4G service. Therefore, I request the government of Balochistan to provide us with faster internet and 4G services so that we should be competitive citizens.
