More than 540 teachers from Foundation Assisted Schools (FAS) across Badin district have completed a comprehensive training programme on foundational learning, as part of the Sindh Education Foundation’s (SEF) ongoing efforts to strengthen early-grade education and improve learning outcomes for children.
The training, conducted under SEF’s cluster-based professional development initiative, brought together teachers from various schools across the district to enhance their classroom practices and adopt child-centred teaching methodologies.
During visits to multiple training venues, Managing Director SEF, Gahanwer Ali Laghari, reviewed the progress of the sessions and interacted with participating teachers. He emphasized that investing in teachers is essential to improving the quality of education in Sindh. “Teachers are at the heart of every successful education system,” he said. “By equipping them with modern pedagogical skills and practical classroom strategies, we are creating stronger learning environments where children can thrive from the very beginning of their educational journey.”
