Yumna reflects on ups and downs in journey of life

Published on: June 19, 2026 10:44 AM

Actor Yumna Zaidi recently shared a more personal side of herself on Instagram. Through a series of Stories, she revealed that many of the reels she posted were saved during both the happiest and most difficult times of her life.

Zaidi first shared a blank Story and then explained why she was reposting several emotional and inspiring reels she had saved over the years.

“Sharing some of the reels on my stories. I saved them in the lowest and happier moments of my life,” she wrote, suggesting the content held personal significance and reflected different phases of her emotional journey. The stories featured a mix of motivational, introspective and faith-based content focused on life lessons, emotional resilience and personal growth.

One reel highlighted the importance of surrounding oneself with supportive people who remain present through both good and difficult times, while another explored the idea of acknowledging sorrow rather than suppressing it and eventually learning to let it go.

Zaidi also shared several messages centred on kindness and positivity. One post read: “Be the reason why people believe in beautiful souls, kind hearts and good energy. Never stop being a good person.” While many of the stories reflected a thoughtful and emotional side of the actor, she balanced the mood with lighter and more relatable content.

These included humorous observations about everyday habits, such as choosing junk food over the broccoli sitting in the fridge, as well as short educational clips explaining human behaviour, including why people sometimes laugh during stressful or serious situations. The actor further mixed religious reflections with comedy geared towards writers and entertainment professionals, creating a diverse collection of content that ranged from deeply personal to light-hearted.
