Police arrest two alleged associates of Pinky

Published on: June 19, 2026 10:15 AM

KARACHI: Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested two suspected drug dealers allegedly linked to the network of alleged cocaine dealer Anmol alias Pinky during a raid in the Clifton area.

According to a statement issued by the South police, the arrests were made following a tip-off regarding the suspected sale and distribution of narcotics in the city. Acting on the information, law enforcement personnel conducted a raid in Clifton’s Block-6 and detained two men riding a motorcycle.

The suspects were identified as Aqib Rehman and Ghulam Mustafa. Police alleged that both men were involved in the online supply of cocaine and crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as “Ice”.

Officials claimed that the two suspects were associated with the network of Anmol Pinky, who has been at the centre of several recent narcotics-related investigations. According to the police statement, the suspects allegedly worked under the direction of Hasan, described by investigators as Pinky’s manager.

Police further claimed that during initial questioning, the suspects admitted to supplying cocaine and Ice through online channels. Authorities said narcotics were also recovered from their possession during the operation.

The arrests come as law enforcement agencies continue efforts to crack down on drug trafficking and distribution networks operating in Karachi. Police have increased surveillance and intelligence-based operations in recent months to curb the sale of narcotics, particularly through online platforms.

Investigators said further inquiries were underway to determine the extent of the suspects’ alleged involvement in drug distribution activities and to identify other individuals connected to the network.

No independent confirmation of the police claims was immediately available, and the allegations have yet to be tested in court. Authorities indicated that legal proceedings against the suspects would continue in accordance with the law as the investigation progresses. The police said additional raids could be conducted based on information obtained during the ongoing investigation.
