Parveen, who gained widespread recognition after appearing in the ITV series Parveen’s Indian Kitchen in 2019, returned to social media to open up about her grief and her decision to resume her professional journey.

In an emotional video message, the chef admitted that coping with the loss of her husband Qamar, whom she was married to for 38 years, had been extremely difficult. She said she was unsure whether she was still the same person her fans had come to know as the Spice Queen.

Parveen told her followers that she wanted to reconnect with them after taking time away from public life. She said that while the pain of losing someone close never disappears, she believed her late husband would want her to continue living positively and return to doing what she loves.

The chef explained that she plans to restart sharing cooking videos and recipes, adding that returning to work would help her cope with the emotional challenges of bereavement.

Parveen also expressed sympathy for others who have experienced similar losses, acknowledging the overwhelming nature of grief. She said that although it is easy to allow sadness to take over, she hopes rebuilding her professional routine will help her find strength.

In a previous statement, Parveen revealed that Qamar, her husband of 38 years and the father of their three children, passed away suddenly. She described the loss as a deeply painful experience that changed her life.
