The military’s media wing highlighted that Pakistan and Australia share a long-standing defence cooperation relationship. Since 2009, 46 Pakistan Army cadets have graduated from RMC Duntroon, while seven Pakistani officers have served as platoon commanders on its faculty since 2013, reflecting continued military exchange and training collaboration between the two countries.

ISPR also noted that this marks the 14th time a Pakistani cadet has been named the best foreign cadet at the prestigious institution. The statement recalled that among previous recipients was Lieutenant Nasir Hussain Khalid Selhria, who was martyred in North Waziristan in 2020, with his name now inscribed on a memorial stone at the RMC parade ground.
