A dignified and well-attended ceremony was organized at the head office of a local educational institution in collaboration with the Public Relations Practitioners Welfare Association, bringing together prominent personalities from diverse fields. The event aimed to foster professional growth, academic awareness, and meaningful engagement between students and industry experts.
Dr Nadeem-ul-Hassan Gilani, Chairman of the Public Relations Practitioners Welfare Association, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while the session was presided over by Senior Principal Imran Dar. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Khalid Mehmood, setting a respectful and spiritual tone for the proceedings. Hosting responsibilities were skillfully managed by Shams-ul-Haq and Dr. Mustafa Kamal.
In his presidential address, Imran Dar warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and termed their presence a matter of pride for the institution. He emphasized that the participation of journalists and intellectuals not only elevates the stature of such gatherings but also provides valuable learning opportunities for students. Highlighting the institution’s commitment, he noted that despite limited resources, efforts are being made to equip students with knowledge in literature, journalism, and religious as well as regional studies. Currently, the institution is nurturing thousands of students across various disciplines.
Addressing the audience, Chief Guest Dr. Gilani underscored the growing number of young public relations professionals as a positive development. He stressed the importance of mentorship and urged that emerging PR practitioners should be given opportunities to learn from experienced professionals.
The ceremony was also attended by President Athar Hassan Awan, along with other office bearers and members, reflecting strong community participation and a shared vision for professional excellence.
