The Foreign Office said Dar will travel at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Both countries maintain an all-weather strategic cooperative partnership with close coordination on global and regional matters. Officials expect in-depth discussions on bilateral relations, regional developments, and shared international concerns during the visit.

Earlier, Dar and Wang Yi discussed regional tensions and global developments during a telephone call. They agreed to promote ceasefire efforts, resume peace talks, and ensure safety of key waterways. China also supported Pakistan’s mediation role in ongoing indirect talks between the United States and Iran.
