Pakistan has decided to export wheat products to the United Arab Emirates following a request from the Gulf state. In the first phase, Pakistan will export flour, maida, semolina and other wheat-based products to meet the demand.
According to government sources, the UAE has requested the supply of 100,000 tons of wheat products. Officials say the move will bring economic benefits to Pakistan’s flour milling industry and local farmers by expanding export opportunities.
