Pakistan’s permanent envoy to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar, stated firmly that Islamabad will not tolerate any plot by India using Afghanistan to harm Pakistan. He responded to statements by Indian and Afghan representatives, emphasizing that Pakistan has provided evidence linking India to planning attacks inside Pakistan through terrorist groups.
Iftikhar highlighted that India has historically played a destabilizing role in Afghanistan, while Pakistan has consistently contributed to promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. He warned that any interference or schemes originating from Afghan soil against Pakistan will be firmly resisted.

The Pakistani envoy urged India to abandon its policy of fomenting terrorism from Afghanistan, noting that this dangerous strategy has been pursued for a long time. He emphasized that Afghanistan’s so-called representatives do not truly reflect the Afghan people and speak only for themselves.
Iftikhar’s remarks underline Pakistan’s stance on national security, territorial integrity, and regional stability amid ongoing tensions with India over cross-border sabotage and terrorism. He called on the international community to recognize and act against such destabilizing activities.
