
A Pakistan national was killed in Iranian missile strikes on the United Arab Emirates on Saturday, the Foreign Office Pakistan confirmed. The strikes followed US and Israeli attacks on Iran, escalating tensions across the region and affecting civilians in Gulf states.
The FO expressed regret over the breakdown of talks and the outbreak of hostilities. It condemned attacks on Iran and subsequent Iranian missile strikes on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE. Pakistan emphasized solidarity with Gulf countries while urging maximum restraint.

Earlier, the UAE Ministry of Defence said a civilian of Asian nationality was killed when missile debris fell in a residential area of Abu Dhabi. Residents received alerts to shelter indoors and avoid windows during the strikes.
Several Gulf nations with US military presence reported intercepting Iranian missiles. Bahrain confirmed an attack on a US Fifth Fleet service center. Iranian Revolutionary Guards said strikes on US bases and occupied territories would continue until the enemy is defeated.

Pakistan called for all sides to uphold international law, resume diplomacy, and seek a peaceful resolution. Authorities emphasized that further escalation could threaten regional security and stability.
