The concerns were raised during a central committee meeting and Iftar gathering held at the residence of TTAP leader Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar in Islamabad. The meeting was attended by several senior opposition figures, including National Assembly Opposition Leader Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Senate Opposition Leader Raja Nasir Abbas, and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
According to a statement issued after the meeting, opposition leaders demanded that Imran Khan be provided immediate access to proper medical care and allowed examination by his personal doctors. They also called for his transfer to Shifa International Hospital for specialised treatment and urged authorities to allow unrestricted access to his lawyers and family members.

The alliance criticised what it described as a lack of transparency regarding the former premier’s medical condition, saying that withholding medical reports had increased concerns about his well-being. TTAP leaders warned that failure to address these concerns responsibly could intensify political tensions across the country.
In addition to health concerns, the opposition alliance also highlighted broader national issues, including rising terrorism, economic challenges, and regional tensions. Leaders called for a unified national strategy involving all political stakeholders to address security threats and stabilise the economy.

The alliance further urged diplomatic engagement with neighbouring countries, including Afghanistan, to reduce tensions and improve regional stability. Opposition leaders said they would present alternative policy and economic proposals in the coming months aimed at addressing the country’s political and economic challenges.
