The visit marks a significant step in reinforcing bilateral naval relations while promoting regional stability and shared strategic interests.

Upon arrival at the Royal Malaysian Navy Headquarters, Admiral Naveed Ashraf was received with a formal guard of honour, reflecting the strong diplomatic and military ties between both countries. The Malaysian side welcomed collaboration in enhancing naval capabilities, signaling mutual interest in strengthening defense readiness.

As part of the visit, the Naval Chief toured Malaysia’s National Hydrographic Centre, exploring opportunities for training programs, data sharing, and hydrographic research.
