
The Punjab government has launched multiple public service initiatives in Murree, aiming to improve civic facilities and provide stronger support for residents and visiting tourists alike.
Housing Minister Bilal Yasin announced the measures under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, emphasizing efficient services, public convenience, and sustainable urban management.

The initiatives include free mobile water vans and the inauguration of the WASA Murree office, designed to modernize water supply, drainage systems, and overall municipal service delivery.
During the visit, officials briefed the minister on ongoing and upcoming development schemes, while clear instructions were issued to complete all approved projects on priority to meet growing civic demands.

Meanwhile, the City Traffic Police Murree introduced a free vehicle recovery service to assist tourists and locals facing breakdowns, accidents, or road emergencies in hilly terrain.
Authorities confirmed the service will operate across Murree and nearby areas, using modern recovery vehicles to ensure smooth traffic flow, faster response times, and improved safety during peak tourist seasons.
