Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has stated that the National Highway Authority (NHA) will complete the 813-kilometer long Pakistan Expressway (N-25) connecting Karachi-Quetta-Chaman within 2 years for which initial work has already commenced. He expressed these views while talking to Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail who called on him here on Wednesday, said a press release.
During the meeting, Governor of Balochistan and the Federal Minister for Communications discussed various issues of mutual interest as well as the prevailing political situation in the country.
Abdul Aleem Khan said that the construction, rehabilitation and up-gradation of Highways in Balochistan is the top priority of the NHA and despite security challenges, the National Highway Authority remains actively engaged in the province. He reaffirmed that the N-25 Pakistan Expressway being constructed in Balochistan will meet international standards and that its construction will be ensured in the best possible manner.
