Following the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash, directors Joe and Anthony Russo debuted the first teaser of Avengers: Doomsday in cinemas. That initial footage confirmed the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, a reveal that sent Marvel fans into a frenzy. The teaser has since been officially released online by the studio.
However, moviegoers have now reported that a new teaser has replaced the earlier trailer during Avatar 3 screenings. Unlike the first clip, this updated footage has not yet been released publicly by Marvel but is already generating significant buzz.
According to reports, the second teaser focuses on Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, confirming the character’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The scene reportedly shows Thor walking alone through a forest, offering a solemn prayer about returning safely to his daughter, Love.
As quoted by USA Today, Hemsworth’s Thor can be heard saying, “Father, all my life, I have answered every call — to honor, duty, to war. But now, fate has given me something I never sought: a child. A life untouched by the storm.”
The emotional monologue continues with Thor asking the All-Fathers for strength to fight once more, defeat another enemy and return home not as a warrior, but as a source of warmth and guidance for his child. The scene emphasises a more reflective and vulnerable side of the God of Thunder, hinting at the personal stakes driving his return.
