Hardik Pandya was leaving a restaurant along with his girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma, when they were surrounded by fans and paparazzi. Amid the crowd, Pandya was first seen ensuring Mahieka’s safety by escorting her to their car before turning his attention to fans waiting for photographs.
Afterwards, Pandya obliged several admirers by posing for selfies and pictures despite the heavy crowd and security presence. However, during the interaction, one fan attempted to approach the cricketer for a photograph but was stopped by the surrounding mob and security personnel.

Visibly frustrated, the fan shouted an abusive remark — “Bhaad mein jao” (go to hell) — after being unable to get close to Pandya. The cricketer, however, did not react to the comment and chose to walk away calmly, avoiding any confrontation. It remained unclear whether Pandya heard the remark or deliberately ignored it.
Videos of the incident circulating on social media drew mixed reactions, with many praising Pandya for maintaining his composure and restraint in an uncomfortable situation. Fans lauded his decision to avoid escalation despite the provocation.
Meanwhile, on the cricketing front, Hardik Pandya has been named in the Baroda squad for the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26. Baroda began their campaign against Assam in Saurashtra on December 24, although Pandya did not feature in the playing XI for the opening match.
