An important meeting of the Secretaries Committee was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Hyder Shah, in which secretaries of all provincial departments participated. The meeting reviewed several key administrative and governance-related matters, including the job portal, pension issues, Public Accounts Committee proceedings, audit paras, and other important subjects. During the meeting, the Chief Secretary Sindh directed all departments that have not yet advertised vacancies on the provincial job portal to issue their job advertisements by the end of January. He emphasized that transparency and timely recruitment are essential for strengthening public service delivery. The Chief Secretary informed the participants that the provincial cabinet meetings have been fully digitalized, marking a significant step toward modern governance. He further directed the Law Department, Services Department, General Administration Department, and Universities and Boards Department to ensure that all summaries are submitted to the Chief Minister in a complete digital format. Addressing public grievance redressal, Chief Secretary Sindh instructed all departments to ensure prompt resolution of complaints received through the Prime Minister’s Complaint Cell. He stressed that public trust depends on effective and timely responses to citizens’ concerns.
