PIA crew Toronto rumors spread online, but Pakistan International Airlines strongly denied the claims on Sunday. The airline called the reports fake and misleading. It said no crew members disappeared in Canada. Officials blamed hostile social media accounts.
Moreover, PIA said a viral tweet falsely claimed an entire crew went missing in Toronto. The airline said the aim was to harm Pakistan’s image. It stressed that no such incident occurred. Therefore, the claim has no basis.

Meanwhile, a PIA spokesperson echoed the denial in a separate statement. He said an Afghan-linked account shared the false report. He added that the post targeted PIA’s reputation. The airline urged the public to ignore it.
However, PIA acknowledged past cases involving missing crew members in Canada. In November, a flight attendant failed to report for duty in Toronto. The airline launched an inquiry into that case. Similar incidents occurred in 2024.
