Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi Wednesday met with the US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A Baker here and discussed avenues of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the transport and rail infrastructure sectors. During the meeting, the matters related to enhancing collaboration in railway infrastructure, transport systems and logistics were reviewed in detail, said a news release.
Both sides underscored the importance of strengthening Pakistan-U.S. relations and emphasized the need to expand mutual cooperation in key development sectors.
The discussion also touched upon potential joint initiatives and investment opportunities aimed at improving connectivity and modernizing transport infrastructure in Pakistan. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular engagement and enhancing future cooperation for shared progress.
