Pakistan voted in favor, emphasizing Palestinians’ right to self-determination. The resolution passed with 151 countries supporting it, 11 opposing, and 11 abstaining.
Titled “Peaceful settlement of the question of Palestine,” the resolution urges urgent negotiations on final status issues and the convening of an international conference in Moscow. It calls on both parties to reverse negative trends and create conditions for credible peace efforts.
