LONDON – Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, is reportedly facing the consequences of her long-standing loyalty to Prince Andrew, which friends claim has severely damaged her reputation and career.
During Channel 5’s talk show Vanessa, Ferguson’s friend Lizzie Cundy alleged that Fergie’s unwavering support for her ex-husband “completely cost her everything.” She said, “I’m afraid Sarah’s biggest mistake was her loyalty to Andrew, because that mud has stuck on her.”

The controversy surrounding Ferguson deepened after her apology email to late financier Jeffrey Epstein was leaked, leading to widespread criticism and her removal from several charity roles. Cundy noted, “Sadly, because of her lack of judgment and her underlying loyalty to Andrew, it’s really cost her. She can’t be linked with Andrew unfortunately.”
Reports suggest the Duchess is now house-hunting, as Prince Andrew is expected to relocate to King Charles’ Sandringham estate, while Ferguson seeks her own residence. “She doesn’t want to live with Andrew,” Cundy revealed. “Now she wants to draw the line and hopefully move on from this.”

Despite the turmoil, Cundy expressed sympathy for Ferguson, saying, “She’s had a rough ride with it… She’s made huge silly mistakes, and no one knows that more than Sarah Ferguson today.”
