NEW YORK — Lionel Messi has signed a new contract with Major League Soccer side Inter Miami, keeping him at the club until 2028, the team announced on Thursday. The 38-year-old Argentine superstar continues to show no signs of slowing down and remains determined to win more trophies with the Florida-based club.
Messi, an eight-time Ballon d’Or winner and 2022 World Cup champion, previously indicated that Inter Miami would be his last club, but he has not suggested retirement, emphasizing that age will not be a factor.
