The federal government has decided to take strict action against foreigners living in Pakistan using fake documents. The move aims to strengthen internal security and ensure all residents are legally documented. Authorities say the crackdown will focus on those using fake national identity cards and forged paperwork to stay in the country.
According to sources, NADRA and law enforcement agencies have created a joint strategy to tackle this issue. The plan includes identifying fake ID holders and preparing detailed lists of such individuals. Officials say data analysis and biometric verification will help detect fraudulent identities.

Work has already started on compiling these lists. NADRA is using its national database to trace those involved in document fraud. Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies are preparing to arrest violators after confirmation of forged IDs.
In the next phase, the government will cancel all fake identity cards found in the operation. People caught with fake documents will face arrest, legal action, and financial penalties. The authorities plan to carry out this operation nationwide in coordination with provincial officials.
