COAS warns India: No room for war in a nuclear region

Published on: October 18, 2025 1:53 PM

Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, warned India that there is no space for war in a nuclearised environment. Speaking at the PMA Kakul passing out parade, he said Pakistan will respond decisively to any aggression, even minor provocations. He added that Pakistan won’t be intimidated by hostile rhetoric or pressure from across the border.

Field Marshal Munir criticised India’s approach to recent tensions, saying it avoids neutral investigations and relies on self-created evidence. He accused India of politicising terrorism to serve its domestic political goals. He also condemned India’s hegemonic ambitions and what he called its “strategic blindness and hubris.”

The Army Chief praised Pakistan’s armed forces for successfully defending the country during recent operations, including Marka-i-Haq and Operation Bunyan al-Marsous. He said these missions boosted national morale and public trust in the military’s capabilities. He emphasised that the armed forces remain ready to counter all threats with professionalism and resolve.

He also highlighted the unity of Pakistan’s people during times of crisis. Regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity, citizens stood together like a wall of steel. This, he said, rekindled patriotism and strengthened national spirit across the country.

The parade featured cadets from the 37th Technical Graduate Course, 71st Integrated Course, and 26th Lady Cadet Course. Forty cadets from friendly countries, including Iraq, Maldives, Yemen, and Palestine, also graduated. The event showcased Pakistan’s growing military cooperation and the strength of its defence forces.
