Law enforcement agencies have located Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) leader Saad Rizvi and his brother, Ins Rizvi. Authorities expect to arrest both men soon. Sources said their exact condition remains unclear. If injured, the brothers should immediately surrender to police for treatment. This development follows violent protests in Mureedke that left several dead and many injured.
The clashes erupted overnight between TLP protesters and police. Authorities used tear gas and baton charges to control the crowd. Protesters used stones, petrol bombs, and iron-studded sticks against officers. They even seized police weapons and fired shots, escalating the violence. Police confirmed that bullets used in firing came from the stolen weapons.

During the violence, a police officer was killed, and 48 officers suffered injuries. Among the injured, 17 had gunshot wounds. Protesters also set fire to at least 40 government and private vehicles. Several shops were damaged or burned during the unrest. Additionally, three TLP activists and one passerby died, while about 30 civilians were hurt.
Police said the protest was no longer peaceful but a planned attack. The TLP leadership allegedly incited the crowd and then fled. Protesters hijacked university buses and other vehicles to block roads. Eyewitnesses reported some vehicles were driven to harm civilians. Authorities arrested several suspects and vowed to hold the culprits accountable.

Officials emphasized that attacking police and destroying property is unlawful. They called for unity to protect citizens and maintain peace. The death of innocent bystanders is a national tragedy.
